I really dislike the phrases "GLBT" because it sounds like an order from a deli... "I'd like a BLT and GLBT, please. Hold the sausage!" WTF? Initials are merely tentative names for things.

And then "queer" is just another synonym for "weird"... not original in the least.

Can't we have something more poetic and less English-centric, loaded and unimaginative... Even in Sino languages it sounds better "Douseiaisha".
How about something African? "Akoma" means "Love".

Isn't that what a group like this is all about... the liberties of Love. Not about trying to get over on people by being weird... def. not about being associated with a sandwich either--how sexually objectifying would that be?

Akoma. Akomaism. Akomaists. A group of people on the side of Love, no political, gender, nor sexual strings attached.
